Founded by three veterans of the US special operations forces, Brigands Co. provides technical consulting services to clients in the military, government, and private sector, including a growing list of Hollywood productions. ULTRA worked with the group to update their brand image to help them appeal to this new audience. We began by refining their choice of blackletter typeface, researching historical usage and meaning, and creating custom type that best reflects their brand. A custom illustration of technically accurate WWII-issued knives also serves as part of the group’s identity and reflects their elite military training and background. ULTRA also provided guidance on image quality and color grading, helping Brigands to visually refine their social media presence moving forward.
